Mahatma Gandhi – “where there is love there is life”.

Inge and Dewald are one of the loveliest couples I’ve met. Their fairy tale began in 2011 while both were still in college. Inge described their first encounter as true ‘fate’. Her lecturer seated Inge across from Dewald but little did they know vows were bound to be exchanged one day.

It is always such a pleasure to photograph a wedding where the bride and groom have so much love and passion for one another. The young couple have a dynamic communication system which make the pictures radiate with love. I felt overjoyed when I noticed that Dewald couldn’t stop staring at Inge, this made photographing them delightfully pleasant. Their beautiful morning wedding was filled with hues of vivid red and yellow to represent a feeling of being blissfully happy and loved. I chose to include a few ‘first-look’ pictures of Inge sneaking up on Dewald before the ceremony which is quite special and intimate.

This time around I had the privilege to work with some remarkably talented people. The team from Langkloof Roses, Mini functions and White Kite Studio helped to create Inge and Dewald’s dream day. Langkloof Roses is a breath taking venue situated in the heart of the Boland Winelands. The venue is romantic with a touch of elegance and gave way to Inge and Dewald’s magical day. White Kite Studio supplied the most amazing stationary for the wedding that gave the final touch of sophistication. The weather at Langkloof Roses promised a beautiful day of memories and precious moments. Inge looked like a fairy princess with her dress from Calegra Bridal house, with an added flower crown to finish her desired look. The flowers were arranged by the very talented Lanné from Langkloof Roses which added to the happy atmosphere of the young couple’s wedding.
