03 Feb Kerry & Thomas, Le Franschoek
Kerry & Tomas met at a Johannesburg Running Club and started to find liking in each other. Tomas helped Kerry out when her car got stolen and he was immediately her hero. On the exact same day Tomas collided with road works and Kerry seized the opportunity to return the favour. From there on forward the couple has been as happy as can be.
Kerry and Tomas got married in beautiful Franschoek exactly six years after they started dating – on the same day! They share a love for their Boston terrier called Basil and admit that it was very hard leaving him in the UK for the wedding. They still wanted to include Basil in subtle ways so that he is not completely forgotten throughout the day. The design on their stationary read “love is like owning a dog”.
Kerry admits that planning a wedding from the UK was not an easy task but she had the help of Cara from Mosaic Weddings, her mom and her sister.
Her long-sleeved dress from Robyn Roberts had her in awe because she referred to it as ideas and a few measurements coming together to form “something that was beautifully perfect”. To photograph a couple that was so stylish and bursting with joy was such a pleasure.
From the perfect start and onwards, may your marriage be blessed in all ways.
