When South African, Emily and Australian, Oliver met in London six years ago they fell in love and found them self to be inseparable ever since…

Emily found that preparing for a wedding had its stress, especially when you’re organising it from halfway across the world. Emily and Oliver both knew that they wanted to get married in South Africa. A beautiful backdrop, warm weather and the lowest chance of rain was the reason for them to choose December. The venue, Le Petite Dauphine has the most amazing view, impeccable culinary reputation and friendly service.

Emily’s mother, aunts and bridesmaids helped make the wedding very personal by adding hand crafted elements to the wedding. The invitations and the name tags were tied to personalised scented candles in Lady Grey tea, Gardenia and Aussie Bush. The couple’s theme was white and blue inspired by their love of Spode crockery. Emily’s mom made beautiful napkins in all variations of their theme colours.
