01 Feb Lu-Anne & Andries, Olive Rock
Through mutual friends this couple met and there was an immediate connection between them. Their actual love story only began when they parted and Andries had to relocate to Gauteng. This only made their bond that much stronger. As the saying goes “one only realizes what you’ve had once it has been taken away”. Andries made his way back to Lu-Anne after two years and nothing had changed between them.
Their wedding day was a true celebration of family, friendships and happiness. The untouched Olive Rock made for a beautiful backdrop to their ceremony on a summers day. They had the ceiling lit with fairy lights and candles for a rustic theme with a touch of elegance.
Lu-Anne wore a dress from the talented Alana van Heerden in a romantic soft style. She admits that their most cherished moment was when Lu-Anne walked down the aisle to find her husband-to-be being very emotional. Nic Standford from Olive Rock once again impressed all the guests with his amazing culinary skills.
Lu-Anne described her wedding as “the relaxed atmosphere, perfect weather and mouth-watering menu made this more than a dream, more than reality. It must’ve been a taste of heaven”.
May your days together be as beautiful and extraordinary as your wedding day.
