Their love story began in 2011 when they met in South-Africa. After long chats on Facebook and spending quality time, Shafiek proposed shortly after his return from Europe in 2014 at the beautiful Spier Wine Estate.

Wedding planning began shortly after and Shafiek found it very hard to keep up with Nora’s “German precision” of planning everything to the finest detail.  Nora’s bridesmaids wore light pink Grecian inspired dresses from Gelique. Their wedding cake was minimal yet chic topped with roses and beside it was two little human figures sculpted to look exactly like Nora and Shafiek.

Even after being shocked by bad weather the morning of the wedding, Nora and Shafiek had a beautiful and bright wedding with a touch of pink and fuchsia. The flower arrangements from Paramithi Flowers and Decor are always such a work of art. Personally I loved the flower arch filled with bright pinks, whites and greens. It complemented Nora’s bouquet beautifully.  Everything was truly planned to the finest detail and was executed to create the perfect wedding.
